meDaniel (1 posts)	SCREW IT SHOWs!! The price set in the IT shows can be found at HN or anywhere else. The freebies that they give is also the same as getting from those shops. Don't waste yer time there, trust me, I'm speaking from experience. >.< *IT Show got sell camera lens?

Thai (2 posts)	I just checked directly with Harvey Norman. $1,299 is the price w/o the harddisk (250GB) and you can't get this price even you don't need the harddisk at the show. This price is set by Canon - HN staffs couldn't sell cheaper. You will just be able to get this price at Harvey Norman store.

Harry Tan (1 posts)	My friend asked me to check the Canon 500D at this PC show. From the price here; show price S$1,399 with lens is not that low. My friend was offered same camera with the standard lens for S$1,280/- with basic giveaway: bag + card + tripod. So not sure if PC show price is always the lowest!

Mike (1 posts)	I think it's always like this, buying from Manufacturer or Distributor is mostly the most expensive, even at IT shows with discount. If one shops around and compares prices a better deal can mostly be found.
