je (1 posts) je the ram i asked the person he say is confirmed 3 x 2gb pieces of ram... maybe this can help some of you clear doubt regarding the ram.

personally i think it is a good buy for i7 920... but for the 950 that will depends on ur budget and whether you got the money to spare.. just my opinion

gamerfan (3 posts) gamerfan i tink they oso had a change in the DDR3 ram as well. if i'm not wrong is 2x 3GB. i was wondering if gigabyte graphic cards are worthy for the money coz i might b plannin to upgrade to GTX295 series.

and legacy, do u happen to live near sgoon gardens? haha..

legacy (10 posts) legacy i am staying at tampines...

haha.. so they have upgrade from above average spec to latest tech with an increase of 400bucks.. hmmm..

hmm.. i personally i would prefer 285.. it's already quite good to play with any games.. with 295, the heat & electricity consumption is another issue.. haha...

by the way, if you buy it, will you install a water cooling system?

gamerfan (3 posts) gamerfan erm, i went down to this booth today and i saw a difference in specs for this gaming system. the processor was changed from i7 940 to i7 950. is it worth the money? it became 2499sgd

legacy (10 posts) legacy by the way, i went online and source for it, it seem that i7 940 and i7950 is around the same price. if that is the case, unless they changed other specs as well, if not the increase in few hundred dollars will not be worth it =)

besides , i7 950 is relative new.. and not much reviews are out there.. *fingers crossed*
